First, I want to say that Champion Fence built me a fence 25 years ago. Since then, the company has gone to garbage! I had them build me a cedar fence five years ago and it is literally falling apart. The boards are paper thin and warping so no longer a privacy fence. The gate is literally coming apart. I called and gave them the opportunity to fix the fence. The owner of the company came out and was extremely rude. He told me the fence and gate were not under warranty. He said that I never should have been sold an 8 foot gate because they don’t last. I asked why it was sold to me and of course he did not have an answer for that question. I guess I should have showed him the 30 year old 8 foot gate on the other side of my property which is still working fine, but honestly, I was bored of his excuses for poor workmanship and product quality. I will say that I did find the guy humorous in the end. He actually wanted me to pay him more money to fix the fence! Cantrell did my neighbors new fence. Much better quality. That is who I will be calling next time!
